What changes, honestly
Local AI runs without credits and users are not metered on the unit. External services keep their own cost: carriers, telephony, cloud models if you choose to use them for some work, third-party databases. Updates arrive signed; snapshots protect the state; a care plan covers support and hardware. Certifications and air-gap configurations are specified in the quote.

Can we start owned, without the hosted step?
Yes. Most companies start hosted because it is live in days and proves the fit; some go straight to the unit for policy reasons. Either way the configuration is done once.
What happens to our credits and seats?
On the unit, users are not metered and local AI runs without credits. Unused hosted credits are handled in the migration quote.
Does the Front Office move too?
The Front Office is a hosted service by nature — it answers your customers where they reach you. It stays connected to the Back Office on your unit.
Who maintains the unit?
Zanus maintains the platform — signed updates, snapshots, support and hardware under the care plan. You maintain your rules and approved knowledge, as you did hosted.
