ZANUS BACK OFFICE — AUTOMATIONS

Describe the automation.
The system draws it and runs it.

Tell the machine what you need in plain words — “when a supplier replies to an RFQ, compare their quote to our stock prices and draft a reply” — and it becomes connected blocks on a canvas: trigger, sources, AI step, actions. Running on its own, forever.

Visual automation canvas with trigger, sources, AI compile and actions

A real automation: inbox trigger, supplier + inventory sources, AI compile, three outputs — built from a plain-language description.

What it does

Plain words in

Describe the job in the side panel; the system assembles the flow: one trigger, any mix of data sources, one AI step, up to five actions.

Visible blocks

The flow is drawn as connected blocks you can read: no hidden logic, no consultant-only configuration. Change a block, not a project.

Runs and reports

Automations run on their own; finished documents flow to Output. Success and failure states are visible directly on the canvas — with retry.

From email trigger to three finished outputs

The example above is real: a supplier replies to an RFQ; the automation pulls the supplier record and your stock prices, the AI compiles a comparison, and out come an email draft, a filed document and a notification. Set once, runs forever.

  • Triggers: inbox, calendar, events, schedules
  • Sources: suppliers, inventory, clients, libraries
  • Actions: email drafts, documents, notifications

Failed automation run with visible failure state

When something fails, you SEE it

Run states live on the flow itself: green success, red failure, right where it happened. No log-diving. Fix the block, retry the run — the boring work stays automated and accountable.

  • Run log per automation
  • Failure visible on the exact block
  • Pause, edit and resume without rebuilding
Cloud AI subscriptions typically price per seat and meter the AI usage on top — and agent platforms hand you a toolkit that someone still has to design, build and maintain. Zanus Back Office ships as a WORKING system: unlimited users, every module included, grounded in YOUR documents from day one.

Questions, answered

Do we need a developer?

No. Automations are described in plain language and drawn as blocks. If you can describe the job to an employee, you can describe it to the system.

What happens to what the automations produce?

Every finished document lands in the Output page with a status — awaiting your decision or already sent, per your approval rules.

See it working on YOUR business — the demo IS the product.
