How do B2B quotes become draft orders?

When you approve a quote built from your active store's catalog, it is created as a draft order in the store. The customer gets a link to the store's payment page, pays on your own checkout, and the quote closes as won when the store reports the purchase.

Can the AI give a discount on a quote?

No. Prices come only from the catalog built from your active store, and a tagged partner or wholesale buyer gets the partner pricing the store assigns. Any other discount is a decision for your team, which can change the lines before approving.

Does it follow up draft orders our staff created?

Yes, when you switch that on for the store. Unpaid drafts your staff made in the store appear with the other quotes and get the same follow-up, which stops when the customer pays.

What happens with two stores, a new one and a legacy one?

Quotes always come from the store marked ACTIVE. When a product is listed in both stores, the AI recognizes it as the same item and quotes the listing in the active store, while past orders from the legacy store are still found.
